Edmond Rostand (1868–1918) was a French playwright and poet known primarily for his romantic drama "Cyrano de Bergerac," which is considered one of the most famous plays in French literature. Born into an aristocratic family, he pursued studies in law before fully dedicating himself to writing. Rostand's works often revolved around themes of love, honor, and idealism, showcasing his deep appreciation for beauty and artistry.
