Myrtle Reed Biography

Myrtle Reed (1874-1911) was an American author, known for her romantic novels and poetry. She was born in Illinois and grew up in a small town. She began writing at a young age and her first novel, "Lavender and Old Lace," was published in 1894. This novel was followed by a series of other popular novels, such as "A Spinner in the Sun," "The Spinster Book," and "The Master's Violin." Her work often featured themes of love, romance, and the supernatural. She also wrote poetry, which was published in various magazines and anthologies. Reed was a popular and successful author during her lifetime, and her work continues to be enjoyed by readers today. She died in 1911 in Illinois, at the age of 37.
