Louis Tracy Biography

Louis Tracy (1863-1928) was a British author and journalist, known for his popular fiction novels and detective stories. He was born in London and began his career as a journalist, working for several newspapers and magazines. In the 1890s, he began writing fiction and quickly became a successful author, known for his thrilling and suspenseful stories. He wrote more than 60 novels, many of which were best-sellers, including "The Final War," "The Ragged Messenger," and "The Wings of the Morning." He also wrote several detective stories, featuring the character of Inspector Furnival. Tracy was a prolific author, publishing an average of two books a year, and his work was highly praised for its fast-paced action and intricate plots. He died in London in 1928.
